John Wesley Shipp starred as The Flash when CBS brought the series to television in 1990 after the theatrical success of Batman. In 2014, John went on to portray Henry Allen, father to Grant Gustin’s Scarlet Speedster on the CW’s hit series The Flash, followed by Earth 3’s Flash, “Jay Garrick.” In fact, John has played four different roles in the “Flash” multiverse: Barry Allen, Professor Zoom, Henry Allen, and Jay Garrick. In 2018, John appeared in the “Arrowverse” crossover, “Elseworld” reprising his role as “90’s Flash / Barry Allen,” once again donning the Classic “Flash” suit to the delight of fans everywhere. Warner Bros. TV announced on September 9, 2019, that John would appear in the “Crisis on Infinite Earths” crossover which aired December 8, 2019. The “Crisis” crossover will span across all 5 of the CW’s superhero shows.
John has appeared on the “Ruby Herring Mysteries” as the Father of lead actress, Taylor Cole. John’s debut on the Hallmark Channel was on September 29, 2019, in the episode titled, “Her Last Breath.” John has also workshopped the play, “Hank and Jim Build a Plane” by David Gregory, about the lifelong friendship of Henry Fonda and Jimmy Stewart despite their political differences and romantic rivalries. John also stars in the just released movie “Night Sweats” as “Nick Frankenthaler” in this based on a true story thriller.
A constant presence on television for nearly four decades, Shipp took on another iconic role after The Flash that of Mitch Leery, James Van der Beek’s father, on the WB’s coming of age series Dawson’s Creek. He continued with a memorable turn as boxer Lucky Williams, love interest to Julianne Phillip’s Frankie, on Season 5 of NBC’s hit drama Sisters, and terrified audiences with his haunting arc as Isaac’s abusive father and Beacon Hills gravedigger, Mr. Lahey, opposite Daniel Sharman on MTV’s drama Teen Wolf.
John is a two-time Emmy Winner, garnering his first award for his performance as the duplicitous Douglas Cummings opposite Julianne Moore on As The World Turns and his second the next year for his guest turn as Martin Ellis on Santa Barbara - making him the only actor to win consecutive Emmys for two different daytime dramas. Other memorable daytime roles include stints on Guiding Light, One Life To Live, and All My Children.
Other television credits include: Lifetime’s hit Drop Dead Diva, CBS’s JAG and CSI: NY, Showtime’s The Outer Limits, TNT’s The Closer, the Lifetime movies Christie’s Revenge and Road Rage, and ABC’s seminal cop drama NYPD Blue. He also starred in the film Hell and Mr. Fudge, and The Sector with Lance Henriksen and Richard Tyson.
Robert Duncan McNeill was born on November 9, 1964 in North Carolina, but raised in Washington, D.C. until his family finally settled down in Atlanta, Georgia. Later, he attended a local high school and, after he graduated, he moved to New York City and enrolled at Juilliard where he spent two years studying the trade. While he was attending Juilliard, he got the role of "Charlie Brent" on the popular ABC daytime drama All My Children (1970). He has also been on many TV shows and movies - including popular shows such as The Twilight Zone (1985), L.A. Law (1986), Sisters (1991), Murder, She Wrote (1984), The Outer Limits (1995), Crossing Jordan (2001), Star Trek: Voyager (1995), Lucky Chances (1990), Homefront (1991), Going to Extremes (1992), among others. After he left All My Children (1970), he landed a role in Stephen Sondheim's Broadway musical "Into the Woods". His theater background also includes performances in "The Fantastiks - The Boy", "Lucy's Lapses", "Romeo and Juliet", "Six Degrees of Separation", "The Family of Mann", "The Four-H Club", among others.
McNeill's television experience also includes roles in a number of movies such as Masters of the Universe (1987), Mothers, Daughters and Lovers (1989), Spies (1993), One More Mountain (1994), Infested (2002). He made his directorial debut on Star Trek: Voyager (1995) and continued on shows such as Dawson's Creek (1998), 9mm of Love (2000), The Battery (1998), Star Trek: Enterprise (2001), Dead Like Me (2003), among others.
Before earning a reputation as an actor, Dan Cortese hosted the reality sports show, ‘MTV Sports’, on MTV between 1992 and 1997. The show became highly popular among its audience, and in 1993, it won the Emmy Award for the Outstanding Edited Sports Series/Anthology. In 1995, it won the Cable Ace Award for Outstanding Sports Information Series. During his time with the show, Cortese started gaining popularity and landed a small role on the silver screen, appearing in the film ‘Demolition Man’ in 1993. He then played small roles in television shows like ‘Seinfeld’, ‘Melrose Place’, ‘Caroline in the City’, ‘The Single Guy’, ‘Volcano: Fire on the Mountain’, and ‘Baby Blues’.
Cortese soon received another role on the silver screen, this time playing Jason in the film ‘The Lottery’ in 1996. He then portrayed the character of ‘John’ in the comedy-drama film ‘After Sex’.
In 1997, Dan Cortese received an offer to play the role of ‘Laird Perry Rollins’ in the NBC sitcom ‘Veronica’s Closet’. The show ran for three seasons and Cortese appeared in 67 episodes between 1997 and 2000. The show featured Kirstie Alley as the title character and also had Wallace Langham, Daryl Mitchell, and Kathy Najimy among other lead characters.
His next major role on television came in 2003 when he featured in the sitcom ‘Rock Me, Baby’ as ‘Jimmy Cox’. The show ran for almost eight months on UPN and featured Bianca Kajlich, Tammy Townsend, and Carl Anthony Payne II among other actors. In the same year, Cortese appeared in the show ‘What I Like About You’, as ‘Vic Meladeo’. The show revolved around two sisters, played by Jennie Garth and Amanda Bynes, and ran on The WB Television Network between 2002 and 2006. His next notable work came in the television show ‘Surviving Suburbia’ as ‘Onno’. His film career includes small roles in films like ‘Locusts: The 8th Plague’, ‘Everybody Wants to Be Italian’ and ‘Soccer Mom’.
Nicole "Nikki" Bilderback grew up in Dallas, Texas as an all-American girl. She was born in Seoul, Korea but is a mix of Korean, Japanese and Chinese, giving her a versatile Asian-American look. Nikki was adopted as a newborn by Jim and Lois Bilderback. Being the youngest child and only daughter, she started dance training at the young age of 3 years old. She is proficient in all styles of dance- specializing in lyrical, modern, contemporary, ballet and hip/hop. Nikki is a major fitness buff and enjoys spin, high intensity interval training and is well experienced in kick boxing and mixed martial arts, enabling her to perform her own stunts.
Ms. Bilderback has made her mark recurring on popular tv shows such as BROOKLYN NINE-NINE, NCIS: NEW ORLEANS, THE ROOKIE, GOOD GIRLS, BONES, PERCEPTION, THE MENTALIST, HUMAN TARGET, CASTLE, NUMB3RS, HOUSE, HEROES, WITHOUT A TRACE, DAWSON'S CREEK, and DARK ANGEL. Some of her feature film credits include Netflix's STAGED KILLER, the action film MERCENARIES, CLUELESS, CAN'T HARDLY WAIT, LEGALLY BLONDE 2, BAD GIRLS FROM VALLEY HIGH, plus many more! Nikki is probably most recognized as the bitchy cheerleader "Whitney" in the blockbuster mega-hit BRING IT ON, starring Kirsten Dunst. .
